i5 13400 : Intel’s CPUs are displayed in a US shop !

Intel has not yet launched its entire line of 13th generation Core i processors. Indeed, the i5 13400 are still missing, but they are already displayed in a US store. We then have a selling price to be taken with caution however.

i5 13400 CPUs now available at ShopBLT!

Intel Core i5 13400As we can see,Intel ‘s CPUs are now available at the American reseller ShopBLT. The latter displays these processors at $242.35 for the 13400 against $215.01 for the 13400F. Remember that the price of an i5 12400 is officially set between $211 and $221 against $184 à $194 for the F version. Beware, there is nothing official here, so prices are to be taken with caution. They could vary between now and their launch.

We now proceed to a small reminder of the expected characteristics. The 13400 offers an improvement over its twelfth generation counterpart. Thus, in addition to six P-Cores, it also has four additional E-Cores. The number of threads increases from twelve to now 16. The performance cores run at 2.5 GHz as standard, rising to 4.6 GHz when boosted. Compared to the i5 12400, this represents a frequency increase of 200 MHz in boost! As for the F version, it is the same CPU, but without iGPU.

Finally, you can also expect a performance increase. On Cinebench R23 in single-core, it showed a 5.5% improvement when we had a little less than 30% in multi-core. In short, a processor that looks promising, let’s hope that AMD lowers the price of its 7600X, otherwise, it may end badly for him.
