Last August, we told you about the Chopin Max, the next ultra compact mini-ITX case from In Win. However, we didn’t have a price and the release date was unknown. Now, we know that it will cost $129 or 149€ to buy it on the official store!
Chopin Max : an ultra compact case at In Win!
When we say that it is an ultra compact case, we are not lying. This model has dimensions of 84 (W) x 217 (D) x 244 (H) mm. It is also extremely light with no less than 2.2 kg on the scale!
Inside, clearly, we will not have the space to put an RTX 4090 or other large blocks. However, this is not the goal since this model is mainly intended to accommodate configurations for current or multimedia uses.
In any case, we find a motherboard slot in mini-ITX format. For storage, we will have the right to two 2.5″ slots as well as an opening to access a possible M.2 placed on the back of the motherboard. And on the cooling side, we will not have to be greedy since with 54 mm max, we can only turn to a radbox or a NH-L9 from Noctua.
As for the power supply, it is already provided as standard. We have the right to a flex ATX block at first sight. This one displays a power of 200W with a 80+ Gold certification. For the price, we told you: 149.90 € via the online store of the brand.
For this price, we find a compact case with a neat finish. The choice of materials is steel and aluminum. As a bonus, we can even customize it with colored tabs to position on the side.
