Gigabyte/Aorus announces the arrival of a new configuration for its Model S mini machine. The PC of the brand now embeds a Core i of twelfth generation and an RTX 3070. The whole being cooled by air in a machine of a little more than 14l.
Model S: a muscular configuration in a 14.4l case!
As a reminder, the Model S is a PC measuring 190 (W) x 189 (D) x 400 (H) mm that embeds a muscular configuration. In our case, the brand updates the configuration that now offers the Core i of twelfth generation.
Indeed, we have the right to a Core i7 12700K. The latter is coupled with a motherboard Z690 which allows overclocking. We will find in reinforcement 32 GB of memory in DDR5 and clocked at 4800 MT/s. For the graphics part, we find an RTX 3070, while the storage is entrusted to a PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD of 2 TB. Finally, to power all this little world, we have a 750W block with 80+ Gold certification.
The other interesting aspect is the air cooling. Internally, we find a solid aluminum fin block. On both sides are arranged the CPU and the GPU which comes into contact with a heat pipe system. Finally, two fans blowing 84 CFM are present at both ends. The air flow is vertical with the hot air rejected by the top of the machine!
Finally, the machine is equipped with a 2.5 Gigabit network, WiFi 6E via an Intel chip and Bluetooth 5.2. The rest of the connectivity is plentiful with 7 USB type A (various standards), a USB type C 3.2 Gen2, two HDMI and four DisplayPort.
For the moment, no price is known.
Here is the Gigabyte datasheet!
