It is finally on May 10th that AMD should propose the refresh of its RDNA2 range which will materialize by the Radeon RX 6950 XT, Radeon RX 6750 XT and Radeon RX 6650 XT . Initially, the leaks evoked an arrival of these cards for the end of April but it seems that AMD pushed back this date even if nothing was official in April as for May.

A refresh of RDNA2 but to do what?
So what can we really expect from these “new” cards? For the moment, one of the only really confirmed information is about the new memory specification. However, the speculations around a clock increase and a substantial performance gain are still coming back without really quantifying the contribution that this will bring to this range. Because we have to admit that the RDNA2 cards have not really shone at the retailers. Even more absent than the RTX, they only animated the market during their respective virtual launches. We can therefore imagine that with the relative easing of the market, we will finally see a little more AMD cards at retailers. For the moment, we’ll give you Videocardz‘s projection of the future range compared to the original RDNA2 range. Let’s also keep in mind that this refresh should only serve to occupy the field before the arrival of RDNA3, still announced by AMD for the end of 2022…
