Function & Lift: NZXT goes into peripherals!

0

The NZXT brand is now entering the world of gaming peripherals and for that, what better way than to offer a keyboard and a mouse. The brand is launching its range of Function keyboards and its Lift mouse that can be customized if you feel like it.

Function: a range of three customizable keyboards!

NZXT Function & LiftWith this series, the manufacturer offers keyboards in three formats: 104 keys, TKL and miniTKL. So there is something for everyone, from large to small, and our test of the mini is available at this address.

The basic keyboard features a few buttons on the left side for sound management, Windows lock or light intensity adjustment. There is even a wheel to manage the volume. The brand also leaves the choice of color: black or white and we will also find ABS keys.

Internally, we also have a memory for saving four profiles. The polling rate is 1000 Hz, the N-Key Rollover is also part of the game as well as the RGB lighting key by key or the support of CAM, the software of the brand. Regarding the switches, we will be satisfied with red Gateron, clones of the Cherry MX of the same color.

However, NZXT is distinguished by a customization service. Via this, you can opt for PBT keys (black or gray) with a colored tip if you wish. The same goes for the cover plate, which can be steel gray, and the choice of switches, which is expanding: red, blue and brown for the basic models. Access to premium switches is also given, but you will have to pay a biller of 80 € to 90 € to enjoy the Ink Silent Black and Aliaz Silent (silent touch).

Lift: the brand’s first mouse!

NZXT liftAs far as mice are concerned, we find the Lift, a model intended for right-handed users with a rather classic shape. As you can see, it has only two buttons on the left and a third above the wheel for managing profiles/dpi.

Like many recent models, this one will highlight a featherweight of only 67g. The cable is flexible, made of paracord, in order to reduce the constraints.

Internally, we will have the right to a PixArt 3389 optical sensor that can go up to 16 000 DPI. The polling rate can be adjusted between 500 Hz and 1000 Hz and we find Omron switches announced for 20 million clicks. Once again, via CAM, we can customize the four available profiles as well as the RGB lighting that it embeds.

Finally, many colors are available with black, blue, cyan, purple, red and yellow, all with a black or white base. In short, something to match your mouse with your keyboard.
