Corsair announces the arrival of a new series of SSD with its MP600 Pro LPX models. A series of four models with capacities ranging from 500GB to 4TB, while being PS5 compatible!
MP600 Pro LPX: four PS5-compatible Corsair SSDs!
In the program, the brand puts forward a total of four SSDs with capacities of 500 GB, 1 TB, 2 TB and 4 TB for the largest model. They all have the same format: M.2 2280. As far as the interface is concerned, we are dealing with PCIe 4.0 x4, which should allow for fairly interesting data rates.
If the memory controller is not known, we know that the brand uses 3D TLC memory and a dynamic SLC cache. Moreover, Corsair claims speeds of up to 7100 MB/s in sequential reading. Sequential writing is not left out with a maximum of 6800 MB/s. Of course, depending on the model, the speeds may vary.
Concerning endurance, we know that the 1Tb and 2Tb models are at 700 TBW and 1400 TBW respectively. For the moment, the figures for the 500 GB and 1 TB versions have not yet been communicated.
