The Corsair brand, which we no longer present, extends its Dominator Platinum RGB memory series. The series receives new kits with new frequencies. The range now reaches 6400 MT/s, but it is better not to look at the expense!
Dominator Platinum RGB: Corsair announces 6400 MHz kits!
We know this DDR5 series very well since it has already passed through our “expert” hands. Indeed, we tested the 5200 MT/s variant at this address. In any case, we find here high-end memory with a worked heatsink as well as an RGB lighting on the top of the strip. By the way, be careful with the chosen heatsink, the RAM being rather high, it could cause some compatibility problems.
Regarding these new kits, Corsair declines memory in dual channel with modules displaying a capacity of 16 GB. The frequencies are increasing with 6200 MT/s and 6400 MT/s. Previously, Corsair was limited to 5600 MT/s. In short, in terms of timings, the RAM displays 36-39-39-76 in 6200 MT/s in 1.3V and 38-40-40-84 in 1.35V for the 6400 MT/s.
Finally, as far as prices are concerned, as we said, you should not look at the expense. Indeed, the 6200 MT/s kit is already priced at 534,99 € while the fastest kit has no price yet. We imagine that the bill will be even more expensive.
