5% increase for Raptor Lake Refresh!

If all goes well, the launch of Intel’s 14th generation processors, aka Raptor Lake Refresh, should take place next week. This series has already gone on sale in Canada, among other countries. While the price increase was confirmed, prices were not soaring either. This trend was once again confirmed by the prices on overclockers.co.uk in the UK.

Raptor Lake Refresh - Core i9 14900K prix

Once again, the trend of 5% price rises is confirmed, but this time in England. OC.co.uk was showing a number of 14th generation processors, five to be precise. Unfortunately, in the meantime, the listings have been removed from the site, which is a common occurrence.

In any case, Wccftech was able to take a few screenshots of the prices charged, and the processors in question were listed at :

  • i9 14900K: £578.99 → 1.5
  • i9 14900KF: £559.99 → 3.7
  • i7 14700KF : £398,99 → 5%
  • i5 14600K: £319.99 → 6.6% sales
  • i5 14600KF: £299.99 → 7.5

Compared with the previous generation, the 14900K has the lowest increase in selling price. In contrast, the 14600KF is the one whose bill is increasing the most. In any case, if you already have a dislodged 13th-generation Core i, Raptor Lake Refresh won’t bring you anything new. In fact, the 200 MHz increase in frequency can easily be made up for by a quick look at your motherboard’s bios.

In the end, only the Core i7 14700K/F offers a significant addition: 4 E-Cores and an increase in frequency. In fact, this is perhaps the most interesting model of this generation.
