Zen 3D V-Cache CPUs in February 2022?

We all know that AMD has already confirmed that its Ryzen processors based on the Zen 3 architecture with 3D V-Cache will arrive for the farewell tour of the AM4 platform in Q1 2022. This range (probably very short) will enter production from November. The Reds should probably make official announcements during CES 2022 in January with a possible commercial launch in February.

But in the meantime, AMD should start shipping its Zen 3 B2 stepper processors by the end of December. We had mentioned these processors with Stepping B2 some time ago. Stepping B2 doesn’t bring any changes to the architecture, but it’s a step in the maturity of the manufacturing process that generally materializes in better overall stability and overclocking capability compared to what we currently have on the market.

AMD will have to wait until the fourth quarter of 2022 to offer the Zen 4 based Raphael chips, but that’s also when Intel should add a layer with Raptor Lake which could be much more than a simple refresh.
