300 Series: MSI cards compatible with Ryzen 5000!
In order to benefit from the support of a Zen 3 CPU on a board with a 300 series chipset, you will of course have to update the motherboard bios. Thus, all A320, B350 and X370 boards will be compatible with the latest AMD Ryzen chipsets. So you will be free to install a Ryzen 9 5950X on your X370 XPower Gaming Titanium if you wish.
Obviously, this announcement follows AMD’s will to extend the compatibility between CPUs and first generation AM4 motherboards as much as possible… After having slowed down during the launch of the Ryzen 3000. Anyway, you’ll have to flash your motherboard with the AMD AGESA COMBO PI V2 1.2.0.7 to benefit from this support.
