Colorful has announced the arrival of three new motherboards. The program includes three references with a B760 chipset, two of which are micro-ATX, while the third is mini-ITX.

Battle-AX B760M-F Pro, the cheapest of the three!

Battle-AX B760M-F Pro

We start our little tour with the most ” cheap ” model of the three, the Battle-AX B760M-F Pro. It is a model in micro-ATX format completely stripped or almost. Indeed, except for the chipset heatsink, there is nothing on it.

Briefly, the data sheet mentions the presence of two DDR4 memory slots (4800 MT/s) and a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot. The storage features four SATA III and two M.2 in PCIe 4.0 x4. Finally, the CPU power supply is based on 8+1 power supply phases in Dr.MOS 30A.

With this second model, the brand offers us a new micro-ATX reference. However, the card immediately looks much better. First of all, there are heatsinks everywhere: VRM, chipset and even on the M.2 ports. Then, the power supply stages are more consequent: 12+1 phases with Dr.MOS in 55A.

Finally, the brand opts for the latest memory standards with the presence of four DIMMs in DDR5 (6400 MT/s). We also find PCIe 5.0 x16 and a second port in 3.0 x4. In terms of storage, we still have our four SATA III, but we move to three M.2 in PCIe 4.0 x4.

Finally, we finish with the ITX model which measures 17 cm x 17 cm. Obviously, this model is between the previous ones in terms of range. Indeed, if we stay on DDR4, we have a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot. The number of power supply phases for the CPU are 7+1+1 with Dr.MOS in 30A.

Finally, the storage part has the same capacities as the Battle-AX: four SATA III and two M.2.

Prices still unknown:

Unfortunately, we still have no idea what prices will be charged although a rather clear hierarchy is set up. Obviously, the Battle-AX model will be the cheapest followed by the ITX version. Finally, it is the CVN that is likely to hurt the wallet the most, although this should be put into perspective since we are still dealing with B760 cards.
