The Akasa brand offers us new products with its G-Nexus P24 and G-Nexus PX24. While the former is a rigid 12VHPWR adapter, the latter is flexible. In either case, they convert three 8-pin PCIe connectors into one 16-pin connector!

The G-Nexus P24 features a 90° connector to reduce the space required in a PC case. What’s more, it greatly reduces the bending of power cables. As for the power supply, this will require three PCIe 8-pin male connectors and is therefore rated at 450W (150W per connector).

On the PX24 side, we find the same principle: 3x 8-pin PCIe to a 12VHPWR connector. Once again, the graphics card connector is oriented at 90°, allowing the connector to be routed over or under the graphics card. What’s more, the individual wires are sheathed to enhance their aesthetic appearance.

Normally, with these two models, we should be able to supply RTX 40 up to RTX 4080 with peace of mind. As for the RTX 4090, things are looking more tense, especially with overclocked cards. Honestly, we don’t recommend it.

Finally, Akasa is a brand with a minimum of seriousness, so confidence in their product should be higher than the Chinese crap you’ll find on Amazon. Be careful, though: in the event of an incident, you may not be covered by your graphics card manufacturer’s warranty… Especially as Akasa is unlikely to refund your hardware– it’s not cablemod!
