MinisForum is not the only manufacturer to offer us ultra-compact mini-PCs, no, Zotac does it too. The proof is in the new ZBOX Edge MI351. This is an ultra-compact PC with a height of only 28.5 mm. It embeds an N100 processor from Intel… It is the first mini-PC to do so!

ZBOX Edge MI351 : a mini-PC equipped with an Intel N100 !

ZBOX Edge MI351With this new machine, Zotac offers us an ultra compact PC. This is confirmed by its dimensions of 149.5 mm on a side and a height of 28.5 mm. To get an idea, the PC is less high than a half-dollar coin.

However, the proposed connectivity remains complete since we find a total of four USB-A 3.2, an HDMI 2.0 output and a DisplayPort. And for the network, we have an Ethernet and an antenna port.

Internally, the machine will offer something to plug in an M.2 2242/2280 SSD in PCIe 4.0 x4 for storage. As for the RAM, we have a DDR5 slot in SO-DIMM capable of handling up to 16 of memory at 4800 MT/s.

Finally, what interests us is the CPU which is quite interesting. Indeed, in it we find an Intel N100, an Alder Lake-N model with four cores and four threads. In layman’s terms, this is a quad E-Core, especially since the TDP is ridiculously low: 6W. That said, it still displays frequencies of 3.4 GHz in boost. As for the cooling system, it is active with a turbine-type blower placed just above.

The price is still to be determined.
