South Korea’s Zalman unveils a new case: the i6. This new case comes in a mid-tower format, yet offers a host of interesting features. From hinged panels to graphics card support, it’s got what it takes!
i6: a new Zalman case with the right equipment!
With this new case, the company offers a reference in medium-tower format. Its dimensions are 230 (W) x 420 (D) x 475 (H) mm. Weight should not be a problem, as it weighs in at 6.4 kg.
Internally, it is compatible with E-ATX motherboards (27.7 cm wide). The graphics card has a clearance of 35.5 cm in length, compared with 180 mm in height for the CPU cooler. The power supply is also 180 mm deep.
The basic ventilation system is equipped with four 140 mm fans as standard. Three of these are located on the front panel, while the last one is mounted on the rear. In case of need, you’ll find two 120 mm slots on the power supply cover and two 120/140 mm slots at the top.
As for the watercooling radiator, the brand announces support for 360 mm models at the front, 280 mm at the top and 140 mm at the rear.
As we said, this is a case that benefits from a number of features. In particular, we find a glass panel mounted on hinges for easy access to the configuration. As for the graphics card, it features an adjustable support. It can also be mounted vertically, thanks to the slots provided.
No price yet, but we do know that the case will be available in black or white!
