At Asus, we have the Maximus Z690 Extreme Glacial at ASRock, it’s the Z690 Aqua. Moreover, for this second card, the manufacturer announces its launch and it is already referenced in some of our retailers. However, do not expect a low price, clearly not!

Z690 Aqua: ASRock’s watercooler card available for purchase!

ASRock Z690 AquaWith this new card, the ASRock brand offers us a model in E-ATX format. This card is equipped with an Intel LGA-1700 socket and a Z690 chipset, a new generation card in short.

On the other hand, where this model stands out is on the cooling since we find a monobloc. This will cool the CPU and the power supply stages (20 phases) of the card. However, unlike the Maximus Z690 Extreme Glacial the chipset and the first M.2 will have to make do with more traditional heatsinks.

As far as connectivity is concerned, it’s very complete with three PCIe x16 5.0. However, with three cards, they will run as follows: x8/x8/x4. We also notice that a small PCIe x1 3.0 closes the march.

The storage part puts forward a total of 8 SATA III and three M.2. Two of them will run in PCIe 4.0 x4 and SATA while the last one will be only in PCIe x4 4.0.

Finally, on the RAM side, the card features a total of four DDR5 slots. These will be able to hold up to 128 GB of memory clocked at 6400 MT/s. However, we should not forget to mention the OC version of the card with two DDR5-7000 compatible memory slots. Moreover, this model is distinguished by the presence of a panel of functions related to overclocking.
