A new series of cases from Phanteks: the XT Series. This range is divided into two parts, with the XT Pro on one side and the XT View on the other. In both cases, we’re back to entry-level cameras with a particularly affordable entry price!
Phanteks XT Series, really affordable!
With its new series, Phanteks offers us a range of housings split in two. On the one hand, we have the so-called “Pro” line, comprising a total of three cases with mesh front panels. On the other, we have the View series, with a glass front panel and no visible front pillar.
In terms of dimensions, the View range will be a little more compact, measuring 230 (W) x 450 (D) x 500 (H) mm, whereas the Pro range measures 230 (W) x 440 (D) x 500 (H) mm.
In terms of component compatibility, there’s support for E-ATX motherboards. Otherwise, for the rest of the components, we find :
- 184 mm for the CPU cooler
- 415 mm for graphics card
- 270 mm for power supply
Ventilation can be substantial, with eight 120 mm slots for the XT View and ten for the XT Pro. For watercooling, there’s a 360 mm radiator support at the top. By default, ventilation includes three 120 mm RGB fans in the XT View, versus four in the XT Pro Ultra. Finally, the XT Pro remains the least well-equipped in this respect, with a single fan without diodes at the rear.
