XPG Cybercore: 1000W and 1300W power at Adata!

ADATA XPG Cybercore With its new power supplies, the Adata brand does not do anything fancy. Indeed, the brand offers us, on the one hand, high power blocks, but, on the other hand, they display a big certification. There are two models certified 80+ Platinum with powers of 1000W and 1300W.

Similarly, the cooling is provided by a fan well known since it is a Nidec mill, a Gentle Typhoon, recently reissued by the brand. Moreover, it offers a semi-passive operation up to 30% of load.

Inside, the brand opts for Japanese capacitors in 105°C. The conversion of the voltages will be done via a DC-to-DC circuit and we find an active PFC. Of course, a number of protections are part of the game. Thus, the OVP, the OPP, the SCP, the OCP, the UVP, the OTP, the NLO and the SIP are present.

The connectivity is, as you can imagine, well supplied:

  • ATX 24 pins : x1
  • EPS12V 4+4 pins : x2
  • PCIe 6+2 pins : x10 (1300W) – x6 (1000W)
  • SATA : x16 (1300W) – x12 (1000W)
  • Molex : x8 (1300W) – x4 (1000W)
  • Floppy : x2 (1300W) – x1 (1000W)

Finally, the sales prices are known. Thus, the 1kW version is priced at $259,99 against $299,99 for the 1300W version.
