Again, X670E cards are online and the prices are crazy. Let’s hope they are just placeholders, although they seem to confirm a certain trend.
X670E: the prices are pure madness!
Via a German price comparison site, we can find the price of some new generation AMD motherboards. The models in question are equipped with an X670E chipset, the largest of this socket.
At Asus, the most affordable card would be the Prime-P version which is already priced at €418.53 against €446.89 in WiFi version. If we look at the Crosshair range, we have an Extreme model priced at €1,486.95 against €1,069.63 for the Hero. Finally, in the Strix range, the -E is € 812.01 against € 655.45 for the ITX version.
In the lot, we have a few models signed ASRock whose price range extends from € 514.50 to € 1,055.90 for the Taichi. The only Gigabyte model that appears is priced at €617.31, while the MEG Godlike from MSI comes in at a massive €2,399.00 without watercooling equipment.
In our previous article, ASRock ‘s Taichi card came in at €345 less. Let’s also hope that the official prices will be much lower than those leaked so far.
