Cooler Master presents, in addition to its X Silent series, a range of ultra-high-power power supplies. In this case, we’re talking about the X Mighty Platinum, a series of power supplies boasting up to 2800W of power. Clearly, these power supplies are designed for very large configurations!
X Mighty Platinum: enough to power four RTX 4090!
Clearly, the aim of this series is to provide sufficient power to power very large configurations. Here, we’re talking about systems with very large processors or a number of graphics cards. At 2800W, the power supply can power up to four RTX 4090s! The same applies to server CPUs, where dual Xeon or dual Epyc configurations are supported.
At present, we don’t know much about these blocks other than that they are Platinum-certified, ensuring good performance. Internally, we have a Mobius fan for cooling. Otherwise, the casing is designed to aid heat dissipation.
Components appear to be of the highest quality, with Infineon integrated circuits. Likewise, the blocks feature a host of sensors to monitor the power supply, all managed via the brand’s MasterCTRL software.
Of course, we don’t expect affordable prices, far from it…
