Participants in the Windows 11 Insider Program will be able to enjoy the latest features planned by Microsoft. Among them is the famous speed test that was already making waves last September. Beyond that, Microsoft is taking the opportunity to add other welcome features and improvements!

The famous speed test that was announced several months ago will soon be available. As we mentioned, this is a welcome option that allows you to check the health of your internet connection. Unfortunately, its integration is still a bit shaky, as it simply opens your default browser to run the test. Microsoft must have the means to offer a cleaner integration of this tool, unless this will be done in the future.
Among the other new features/improvements, we learn about Emoji 16 support. Well, there’s nothing special to add except for the addition of new emojis. If you’re the type to use them instead of regular punctuation, this is good news.
Other welcome improvements include improved analysis of temporary files. In addition, the printing service now works more smoothly, especially when printing large volumes. Compressed file management has also been improved with an “extract all” option for non-.zip files. Finally, the Windows Update settings page is now more responsive.
For now, all these features/improvements will be offered as updates available to the Insider program before being rolled out and made available to the general public.
Once again, there is nothing revolutionary here, but these are small things that improve the daily lives of Windows 11 users… Quality of life updates, as they are called.
