Thermaltake has announced its View 390 TG, a case with a special feature: a curved side panel. However, unlike Corsair’s Frame 4500X, the glass extends right to the top of the case. The result is an unobstructed view of the PC ‘s interior!
View 390 TG another case with curved glass!
Currently available in black or white, the View 390 TG remains a big baby, with dimensions of 287 (W) x 485 (D) x 503 (H) mm. The weight, although not communicated, should not be outweighed either. Indeed, given the amount of tempered glass present, it must be starting to weigh.
Meanwhile, internally, we find a chassis that will accommodate an ATX-format motherboard, with support for ATX backpanel and micro-ATX models in particular. The graphics card, which can be mounted vertically or horizontally, benefits from a dedicated bracket and 460 mm of clearance. As for the CPU cooler and power supply, Thermaltake has set limits of 160 mm in height and 200 to 260 mm in depth respectively for these components.
As for cooling, there are up to eight 120 mm slots. These are distributed across the bottom of the case, on the side of the motherboard and at the rear with two slots. Compatibility with watercooling radiators stops at 360 mm, while there is no compatibility with 140/280 mm fans/radiators!
Finally, as regards storage, the rear of the motherboard tray features a flap that can accommodate two 3.5″ hard disks or three 2.5″ SSDs .
In short, Thermaltake offers us a pretty nice case with its attractive curved glass. If desired, an additional screen can be integrated for further customization. For the moment, it’s only available in black or white, but it’s a safe bet that new colors will be added as sales increase. For the moment, we don’t yet know the price!
