After presenting its screen TUF VG30VQL1AAsus is back with a new monitor. However, our model of the day, the VA27VQSE, is more basic and is intended for office and production work.

VA27VQSE: a 27″ full HD screen!

Asus VA27VQSEWith its new screen, Asus offers us a fairly basic reference. Indeed, we have a monitor that offers a full HD resolution (1920 x 1080), all on a 27″ VA slab. However, it has the particularity of being curved at 1500R. However, this model offers a low latency of 1 ms MPRT with a refresh rate of 75 Hz. Finally, we have AMD FreeSync compatibility.

Otherwise, the slab puts forward a brightness of 350 cd/m² with a contrast ratio of 3000:1. Despite this, the datasheet remains rather vague. For example, no indication of the coverage of different color spaces such as DCI-P3 or sRGB. Moreover, we know that there is no HDR certification.

With this, the connectivity remains basic since we find a single HDMI 1.4 port, a DiplayPort 1.2 and a jack. No USB hub in this case, too bad. Nevertheless, the screen comes with a stand that can be adjusted in height, tilted and “rotated” (yes, this is done on purpose).

Currently, we do not yet know the selling price. On the other hand, it is very likely that it is an entry-level reference given its performance.
