At Gigabyte, we find the announcement of a new series of power supplies. The brand unveils its Ultra Durable power supplies, or UD Series for those who know them well. These power supplies have a power of 750W, 850W and 1000W!
UD Series: Ultra Durable blocks from Gigabyte!
With this new range of power supplies, the brand offers us power supplies with a power of 750W, 850W and 1000W. All of them offer the same certification: 80+ Gold while taking advantage of a fully modular cable management. The interest is that you only plug in what you need. All the more so as the blocks are rather compact: 15 cm deep!
Inside, the brand goes all out to improve the cooling of its blocks. Indeed, it boasts of using radiators 200% larger than those of a conventional model. In addition, the air flow is provided by a 120 mm fan with semi-passive operation up to 20% load.
On the electrical side, the brand opts for Japanese capacitors in particular. Otherwise, all have a single 12V rail. On the protection side, we have: the OCP, the OTP, the OVP, the OPP, the UVP and the SCP. Finally, we end with the active PFC with a power correction factor of 90%.
