Toughpower GF3 & GF A3: power supplies go snow white!
TT is switching some of its power supplies to all-white. Among them is the 1200W Toughpower GF3 Snow. It’s a relatively compact 16 cm deep block. It also boasts 80 Gold certification, a 140 mm semi-passive fan and ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5.0 compliance.
Electrical features include strict voltage regulation (‘±2%) and low ripple noise of less than 30 mV. Likewise, in the event of a power cut, the block will keep the system on for 17 ms, which comes in handy in the event of a micro-cut. Finally, a single 12V rail, quality components and all the necessary electrical protection. As for connectors, we’ve got what it takes.
The other series to go white is the GF A3 in 850W and 1050W. Here again, we’re dealing with 80 Gold-certified power supplies and fully modular cable management. However, the main difference lies in the size of these models, with depth reduced to 140 mm. The size of the fan is also reduced to 120 mm, but it still adopts a semi-passive operation.
These models are also ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5.0 certified, and feature all the necessary electrical protection. Likewise, a single 12V rail and quality components such as Japanese capacitors.
In terms of price, the 1200W model costs €239.90. The more compact 1050W and 850W units in the A3 series are officially priced at €169.90 and €139.90 respectively.
