G.Skill continues to expand its Trident Z5 memory line with a new kit. This time, the RAM has a high frequency of 6000 MT/s. As time goes by, the frequencies increase, so we can’t wait to see the speed reached by this memory when the technology is mature.
Trident Z5: a 6000 MT/s kit!
Anyway, with this new kit, no visual change. We still have the right to RGB RAM with the presence of a light bar on top. Moreover, the lighting can be set via your motherboard. However, with an aircooling fan, we will pay attention to the size.
On the characteristics side, this model arrives with a frequency of 6000 MT/s and timings of 30-40-40-96. However, we have no indication of the voltage reached by this kit in this configuration. On the other hand, we can tell you that it is a 32GB dual channel set. Each strip will therefore have a capacity of 16 GB.
Of course, there is XMP3.0 compatibility, but only twelfth generation Core i’s can take advantage of it… For the simple reason that Alder Lake is the only CPU generation to have a DDR5 memory controller for the moment.
Here are the datasheets from G.Skill!
