Fractal Design launches a much more compact version of its Torrent case (launched in august 2021). Indeed, the Swedish company is now offering its Torrent Nano, a case in tower format intended for ITX configurations.
Torrent Nano: a new ITX case from Fractal!
With this new case, the brand puts forward a “compact” model with dimensions of 222 (W) x 417 (D) x 374 (H) mm. Finally, for ITX, this model remains imposing, nevertheless, we have much less restrictions compared to a A4-H2O from Lian Li/DAN for example.
It will be possible to install large graphics cards in three 335 mm slots. The same goes for the power supply, with support for 20 cm deep ATX blocks. Concerning the air cooling fans, 165 mm of height are available. You might as well say that a big NH-D15 fits in.
This model comes with a large GP-18 fan of 180 mm in front. However, it can be replaced by two 120/140 mm mills. At the bottom, this Nano model offers two other 120/140 mm slots against a 120 mm at the back. You will have understood, as far as watercooling is concerned, we find a compatibility with models in 280/240 mm at the bottom and at the front!
Finally, you should know that this model also has Velcro strips to facilitate the wiring and a support for graphics cards. For the storage part, there is a 2.5″/3.5″ slot and two 2.5″ boards.
For the price, it will be necessary to count approximately 137 € for this ITX model which remains, it must be admitted, very imposing.
