As expected, today we had the presentation of the Intel ARC range of GPUs dedicated to laptops. But at the end of this event, the surprise was the presentation of a graphics card for desktop PC. This version would be produced by Intel.

It’s hard to say if this card really exists… If it does, then it would be the equivalent of a Founders Edition from Intel. But the pictures let us think that we have just an animation to make impatient people drool. The stealthy card would be a high-end model with dual fans and only 2 slots. This design is similar to the prototypes leaked in the last few months, but we are clearly looking at a much more accomplished product. This card has an aluminum backplate and remains very sober in terms of RGB, a bit like the cards released by Nvidia. On the connectivity side, it offers four video outputs (3x DisplayPort + 1x HDMI).
Intel clearly names this card as an Intel Arc Limited Edition, which reinforces our idea of a premium reference model that will arrive in limited units, like Nvidia’s FE. The blues indicate that this “limited edition” will be available this summer. The latest leaks mention performances that could be between a 3070Ti and a 3080…But at this stage, no one knows for sure: the secret is particularly well kept.
