Thermaltake unveils its TH V2 aRGB series of watercooling kits. This new series is distinguished by its many variants, with heat sinks of different sizes. What’s more, it features an LCD display mounted on top of the pump.

TH V2 aRGB: kits up to 420 mm with display!

Thermaltake TH V2 aRGB

The least we can say is that this series of kits comes in a number of versions. The Ultra range includes 240 mm, 280 mm, 360 mm and 420 mm radiators. The “basic” models offer the same formats, but with the addition of a small 120 mm radiator!

Bear in mind that only the Ultra models feature an aRGB screen. This will be used to display various information related to your system: temperatures, frequencies, and so on. Otherwise, .jpeg or .gif files can also be displayed.

Apart from this difference, we find the same base with a pump block offering a copper cold plate. The pump will operate via a PWM-type power supply, running at 1500 rpm to 3300 rpm.

In view of the different radiator sizes, we find different fans, in 120 mm or 140 mm. In 12 cm, they will operate from 500 rpm to 2000 rpm, with a maximum airflow of 57.05 CFM and a static pressure of 2.23 mmH2O. In 140 mm, the fans are slower, with a maximum speed of 1800 rpm. On the other hand, airflow has improved, with 84.32 CFM and a static pressure of 3.02 mmH2O.

As for socket compatibility, the brand announces support for LGA-2000/1700/1200/115x and AM5/AM4/AM3, etc.

Pricing is not yet available. However, we expect the Ultra series to be the more expensive of the two… Logical, given its LCD screen.
