Thermaltake offers a black version of its Toughair 710

Thermaltake isn’t particularly well known for its fans, but that doesn’t stop the brand from offering a complete range. The company is adding a new all-black version of its Toughair 710 to its catalog!

Toughair 710 Black: an all-black Thermaltake cooler!

Thermaltake Toughair 710 BlackAs a reminder, this is a heatsink released earlier this year, designed to handle thermal loads of up to 250W. To achieve this, Thermaltake relies on a double-tower design, with a heatsink equipped with a total of seven six-millimeter copper heat pipes. They meet at an enlarged nickel-plated copper base.

Air flow is provided by two 140 mm fans, each operating from 500 rpm to 1400 rpm. At full throttle, airflow reaches 81.96 CFM, while static pressure rises to 1.81 mmH2O.

Of course, you’ll have to watch out for the footprint, as this heatsink measures 148.6 (W) x 146.6 (D) x 165 (H) mm. Unfortunately, weight is not specified. As for memory, you’ll have to opt for particularly compact RAM: 25.45 mm high and up to 48 mm when the front fan is raised… That doesn’t leave much room.

Naturally, this version comes with an all-black finish. It’s found on the fans, the aluminum fins and the heat pipes.

In terms of pricing, it wouldn’t be surprising to see this version arrive at a higher price than the base model. The basic model retails for around a hundred euros, as can be seen in our comparison above!
