Thermaltake has announced a new mouse series called Damysus. It’s a wireless and wired mouse, with RGB lighting for the scroll wheel. So far, the classic gaming mouse!

Damysus: and two new mouses from Thermaltake!

Thermaltake Damysus RGBWhether we’re talking about the wireless or wired model, we’ll find the same shell in all cases. The latter features two RGB zones, one on the knob, the other on the scroll wheel!

In terms of dimensions, the brand indicates that its mouses measure 127.4 (W) x 68.7 (D) x 42.1 (H) mm. The weight of the wireless version is inevitably greater because of the battery: 84g vs. 74g for the wired model.

Otherwise, internally, the mulots have an internal memory: 64 kB for the wired version vs. 512 kB for the wireless one. The switches are from Omron, and boast a lifespan of 60 million clicks. Finally, the sensor will vary according to version. A PixArt PMW-3389 sensor will be found on one, and a PixArt PMW-3370 on the Damysus Wireless. Of course, the specifications are different: 50G and from 100 to 16000 DPI on the former, and 50G and from 100 to 19000 DPI on the latter.

For the moment, the selling price is unknown. However, we have no doubt that the wireless version will be the most expensive. Between the more powerful sensor, the larger on-board memory and the battery capable of lasting up to 120 hours at 2.4 GHz without RGB, this adds up to a hefty price tag.
