Thermaltake Ceres 300 TG, more compact than the 500!

Thermaltake has just announced the arrival of a new case in the company of the Ceres 300 TG. It’s a case that completes the series initiated by the Ceres 500 announced earlier this year… But still not commercially available? Anyway, let’s see what this 300 model has to offer!

Ceres 300 TG: a more compact model, but still airflow-oriented!

Thermaltake Ceres 300 TGWith this new case, the brand offers us a mid-tower reference whose dimensions are wiser than those of the 500: the case measures 245 (W) x 475 (D) x 463 (H) mm. On the balance, the case is also reasonable, weighing in at 7.8 kg.

Internally, we have support for ATX, micro-ATX, mini-ITX and even E-ATX motherboards. For the graphics card, there’s plenty of room to mount 34 cm CGs with a front-mounted heatsink… Without, it’s 37 cm. Seven expansion slots can be oriented at 90°. Finally, for the power supply and CPU cooler (aircooling), we have 220 mm and 185 mm respectively.

However, the storage section remains as basic as possible, with only one board available. This will accommodate either a 3.5″ hard disk or two 2.5″ SSDs.

As for cooling, the case features seven 120 mm slots, as opposed to four 140 mm ones. Watercooling compatibility extends to 280/360 mm models at the front and top.

For the time being, no selling price is known. We also know that an LCD screen will be sold separately. Like the Ceres 500, it will be positioned on the side of the power supply cover!
