A new thermal paste is about to appear on the market. Indeed, the Japanese manufacturer Scythe announces its Thermal Elixer G, a paste available in 3.5 g syringes.
Thermal Elixer G: a new thermal paste from Scythe!
With its new thermal paste, the Scythe brand offers a paste packaged in a 3.5 g syringe. This paste comes in a resealable and hermetic bag. It will contain a pad soaked in alcohol for cleaning your CPU/GPU and a small spatula to facilitate the application.
Otherwise, we find a non-conductive and non-corrosive paste, allowing a wide range of use. Moreover, it has a thermal conductivity of 11 W/mK and a low viscosity to facilitate its application. Finally, the formula integrates graphene particles and the brand announces temperatures of use included between -20°C and +120°C.
As for the price, this paste is $15. Clearly, we are at the top of the range. For comparison, the NT-H2 syringe from Noctua is currently priced at $12.95 on Newegg (for a dollar comparison) with the same capacity. It remains to be seen how it conducts heat.
