After the RX 6950 XT Phantom Gaming, which is now priced at $610, it is now the turn of the RX 6800 to see its price drop. Indeed, the Gaming OC model from Gigabyte now reaches $469,99. Prices that are becoming very attractive!
An RX 6800 available from $470 in the US!
At this price, Gigabyte’s card becomes very affordable and is positioned ahead of ASRock’s card referenced at $484.99. But what is most interesting in all this is that we are dealing with a strong discount on older generation AMD products. Little by little, the cards seem to be dropping in price and that’s good for our wallets.
However, in Europe, there is still no concrete price drop since the most affordable 6800 can be found at Topbiz. The card is a Sapphire model and costs 573,46 € which does not really correspond. The same is true for the RX 6950 XT with the XFX Merc 319 model available from 684 €.
That said, we are hopeful to see prices drop in Europe as well. Remember that the RX 6000 already belong to the old generation and that these cards should be replaced in the coming months. With the new models from AMD, there is no doubt that the bills should be lower.
