The return of this “vitaminized” RTX 2060 12GB would be, according to Nvidia, the long awaited remedy to give some oxygen back to the GPU market. But once again, after an official launch a few hours ago, the card is nowhere to be found and its prices are totally inconsistent.
Earlier today we revealed the “dubious” positioning of this RTX 2060 12Gb against its big sister RTX 3060…One can indeed wonder if this product is really there to bring solutions. Indeed, the use of a less elaborate engraving process would be the solution to circumvent the production problems. But then why GTX which also use the same 14nm process are also completely absent from the market for months?

Not to mention the fact that this RTX 2060 “2021 revival” could also be an interesting choice for miners as evidenced by the lower graphs published by PCMarket (note however that the comparison takes into account the figures of the 3060 LHR which can be easily optimized now…). 
We can therefore legitimately wonder about the usefulness of this card and especially its target: gamers or minors? Because at the same time, we observe another phenomenon that cannot be a coincidence
Since the beginning of December, the price of the RTX 3060 is skyrocketing…
The phenomenon is not innocent, since the launch date of this RTX 2060 12GB is fixed, we witnessed a real explosion of RTX 3060: between 50 and 80 € increase according to our observations. This increase is not explained by Nvidia where the price of GPUs delivered to its partners have not increased. We would like to make room for a new card by pulling the market upwards that we would not do it otherwise…
