Lian Li is clearly banking heavily on its O11 case series. The proof is today in the form of a new version of its case: the O11D Evo RGB. With this declination, the brand launches a modular case with a hint of RGB. What’s more, it will be available in both black and white!
O11D Evo RGB: dream mounting possible!
Let’s start with its dimensions: 290 (W) x 478 (D) x 471 (H) mm. This means it can easily accommodate E-ATX motherboards. For the rest of the components, the following clearances are available:
- 455.7 mm long for the graphics card
- 167 mm height for CPU cooling unit
However, the motherboard tray can be tilted to ATX reverse. Clearly, this is a simple operation that only takes a few steps. The same applies to motherboard mounting: it can be mounted higher or lower on the tray, leaving more or less space above or below it.
Of course, it features a number of functions, such as a control panel that can be easily repositioned. This is particularly useful depending on the position of the box on the desk. There’s also GPU support and lighting control via remote buttons on the case.
This O11 is also very watercooling-friendly, with 360 mm radiator support at the top, side and bottom… What’s more, brands such as EK and Alphacool are keen to offer flat distro units for this series.
In short, the price is affordable for what it offers, since it is officially announced in black at $159.99 versus $169.99 in white. The launch has already begun… All we can do now is wait for units to arrive in stock.
