The Taiwanese branch of Cooler Master announces the availability of the MasterBox 520 Blackout… One of the versions of the announced MB520. So far, if you look in the shops, you’ll find mesh versions in black and white. These colors are also available in a TG version with a glass front panel!

MasterBox 520 Blackout: a black version with four fans!

Cooler Master MasterBox 520 Mesh BlackoutThis new case is based on the already launched MB520. Dimensions are 210 (W) x 502 (D) x 498 (H) mm. The design remains similar to the mesh aRGB versions already on offer, but there will be no luminous fans. In fact, this version will come with four fans. On the front, there are three 120 mm SickleFlow fans, while a 120 mm Master fan Lite closes the rear.

Otherwise, we find the same capacities as for the mesh and TG versions. The CPU cooler can measure up to 165 mm in height, while the graphics card is 410 mm long. The power supply is 200 mm deep, while the motherboard tray can accommodate E-ATX models.

Storage remains classic, with the possibility of mounting up to two 3.5″ units, as opposed to three 2.5″ units.

Cooling is provided by three 120mm slots or two 140mm slots at the top. Likewise, if you wish, you can swap the three 120 mm mills for two 140 mm ones at the front. At the rear, however, you’re stuck with 120 mm. For watercooling radiators, we have a 360 mm model support at the front and at the top via a removable plate!

Prices are estimated at $99… For the moment, it’s hard to say what the price will be in Europe… Obscure price comparison sites list the case at €135. In the meantime, you can find our review below, as well as the rest of the range in our comparator above!
