The i9-12900KS already on sale in France ?

We know that Intel will soon launch its Core i9-12900KS, a 12900K processor capable of high frequencies. While the launch is still not official, we could see that some CPUs are already in the hands of some customers. Recently, some of them have shared some benchmarks and pictures of their acquisitions.

In the figures from CineBench R23, the 12900KS stands out as the best performing CPU of the moment. Its scores are respectively 6.7% and 5.7% higher than the Core i9-12900K DDR5 in single-core and multi-core; 29.6% and 9.2% higher than the Ryzen 9 5950X (16 cores / 32 threads, TDP of 105 W).

Yesterday, our friends at Videocardz revealed the product sheet and the US price (at NewEgg) of Intel’s next top-of-the-line processor. The technical details of the sheet allow us to remove some of the uncertainties that were still hanging over this CPU. With a price tag of 799 USD, 210 USD more than the “classic” 12900K, this CPU could be a good choice for those who are looking for the best performance without taking the risk of getting a “potato” processor in 12900K, unable to support serious overclocking.

The i9-12900KS already available in France?

In the last few hours, the 12900KS has also appeared on two French sites (belonging to the same company): Cybertek and Grosbill. If the price is clearly not the same as at NewEgg (taxes and so on), it is interesting to note that the processor is announced in stock and available immediately.

On our side, we are working to offer you some tests and comparisons of this processor very soon.
