Getting Started

This point is entirely subjective. Depending on the size of your hand, as well as your preferences regarding hand position and grip, the feel could be completely different.

What you’re about to read here is therefore my own personal opinion and won’t apply to all users.

Both mice feel quite comfortable to hold. They fit well in the hand, and you always have the option of additional grips if the original coating doesn’t suit you.

Personally, I find both mice a bit small, especially the 3S version. So I prefer the Quasar 3, which has a slightly “taller” shape but is also a bit wider. This prevents my finger from rubbing against the mouse pad.

Build quality

This is clearly a strong point of these mice. They’re sturdy and show absolutely no flex. This is all the more impressive given how lightweight they are. The finish is also exemplary, with a smooth, pleasant feel. All moving parts provide good tactile feedback when activated, with no unwanted movement.

The scroll wheel is notched and scrolls fairly smoothly. The switches feel very pleasant to use, with just one drawback: they’re slightly noisy. It’s nothing excessive, and you won’t hear them once you put on your headset. But we had to find a small flaw!

Sliding

The feet are well-made and don’t create any unwanted friction. The fact that the mice are very lightweight clearly helps, resulting in a very pleasant overall feel.

Especially in wireless mode, you almost forget the mouse is there. Movements are effortless yet precise.

The cable is very flexible, and the connector on the mouse side is slightly angled. This prevents the cable from touching the mouse pad directly where it exits the connector, which further reduces friction.

Although it doesn’t quite match the comfort of wireless use, using the mouse while it’s plugged in isn’t unpleasant at all.
