SwaFan RGB: a fan with interchangeable blades from Thermaltake

0

So Thermaltake announces new fans with its SwaFan RGB. We are talking about 120 mm and 140 mm mills with interchangeable blades. These fans come with two sets of blades.

SwaFan RGB: easy to change blades and easy to clean!

Thermaltake SwaFan RGBWith these fans, the brand offers mills with interchangeable blades. In the box, we find our fans and a set of blades in reverse, not to mention the connectors or the syringe of lubricant. Yes, in case of change, we will have to think about oiling the mechanics. In terms of characteristics, we will retain the power supply via a proprietary connector. Nevertheless, whether they are in 120 mm or 140 mm, the speed range remains the same: 500 RPM to 2000 RPM. For the rest, we find :

  • 120 mm:
    • Airflow: 53.02 CFM (blade 1) – 54.85 CFM (blade 2)
    • Static pressure: 2.58 mmH2O (blade 1) – 2.19 mmH2O (blade 2)
  • 140 mm :
    • Airflow: 77.6 CFM (blade 1) – 73.3 CFM (blade 2)
    • Static pressure: 3.12 mmH2O (blade 1) – 2.59 mmH2O (blade 2)

Finally, the purpose of the maneuver is to be able to take care of the aesthetics of its machine. Depending on the blade clearance, you will not have to see the back of the frame and the blades. This also greatly facilitates the management of RGB lighting since with 30 diodes, there is what is needed. The other advantage is that cleaning is simplified: a fan is never as easy to clean as when you remove the blades. Well, the only really annoying thing is the price $119,99 the three-fan pack in 120 mm vs $129,99 the three 140 mm ones!
