The Sugo range of cases is about to receive a new reference with the arrival of the Sugo 16 in the Silverstone catalog. By the way, the Sugo series, you can have an idea of what it is worth via our tests of the 14 and 15 models here and there.

Sugo 16: a new member in the Sugo family!

Silverstone Sugo 16In addition to offering an ITX case in cube format, Silverstone is doing something original with a reverse mini-ITX case. Roughly speaking, the motherboard will have the socket facing down while the graphics card will point up. Fortunately, for breathing, the graphics card will benefit from a perforated and filtered top panel. Nevertheless, beware of its dimensions since it should not exceed 27.5 cm by 14.7 cm in width.

As for the rest, you shouldn’t be too greedy either, especially when it comes to the power supply. This model is only compatible with SFX and SFX-L power supplies. However, the CPU fan can go up to 172 mm if you opt for an SFX power supply. If you use an SFX-L block, the compatibility drops to 85 mm.

Silverstone Sugo 16 As far as storage is concerned, we have a small 2.5″ board at the bottom of the case. Otherwise, you will have to turn to the front of the Sugo 16 to find a second 2.5/3.5″ slot. But this would also mean condemning a 120mm fan slot in the front.

Besides, fan (and watercooling) slots are extremely limited. We have one 120mm slot on the front and a second on the back. Only the one at the back of the case will be usable by an all-in-one 120mm watercooling kit.

For the moment, we have no indication of the price of this model.
