Chieftec has announced a new case with its Stallion 3. In broad terms, it is a rather imposing case with a mesh front. Its other particularity: to propose a support of graphic card!
Stallion 3: an imposing Chieftec case with graphics card support!
With this new case, the brand offers us a rather imposing model with dimensions of 210 (W) x 572 (D) x 520 (H) mm. Finally, these dimensions allow the case to accommodate E-ATX, ATX, µATX and mini-ITX motherboards.
Otherwise, for the storage part, we can count on four 2.5″ slots as well as two others in 3.5″.
Overall, we can’t complain about the support of the components. Indeed, the graphics cards benefit from 430 mm, enough to serenely install a watercooling radiator in front… Especially since there is support for two GPUs. On the power supply side, we have 200 mm. However, if the CPU fan takes advantage of 160 mm, given the size of the case, we would have appreciated a few more millimeters.
The basic ventilation offers four aRGB mills, three on the front, one on the back. The lighting will be controlled via a controller already provided at the back of the motherboard tray. And from what we can see, a button on the front could play with all this. In short, the ventilation could be completed by adding two mills in 120/140 mm in the top.
Finally, for the watercooling, we have a “classic” compatibility with the radiators. Indeed, Chieftec announces 360 mm in front and 240 mm in the top.
For finished, the selling price is not known yet. This, we know that the availability will be effective in February 2022.
