After having talked to you about the fans it’s now time to talk about peripherals, again in connection with Thermaltake. Indeed, the brand launches its Silver K6 RGB keyboard, a low profile model. A model derived from the Silver K5 that we tested here.

Silver K6 RGB: a K5, but low profile!

Thermaltake Argent K6Maybe we are going a bit fast in saying that it is a low profile K5, but it looks very similar. The state of mind remains the same with an aluminum faceplate and the big sound control wheel on the right. Moreover, the black base does not have the same shape as on the K5.

Anyway, for this version, the company turns to low profile Cherry switches. It is a question of silver speed and red switches, both offering a linear, but very lively. As for the keycaps, they are also in low profile format.

With this, we have the right to dedicated multimedia keys as well as a system for recording macros on the fly. Similarly, it will be possible to configure the lighting via functions accessible through shortcuts, although it can be done in a more advanced way via the dedicated software. Finally, the connectivity is not left behind with a USB offset on the back of the device.

Once again, we’ll have to wait a little before seeing it in stores. Same thing for the price: patience.
