SHARK Mirror, the new fans from Sharkoon!

New fans from Sharkoon, with its SHARK Mirror RGB windmills. What’s more, a version with inverted blades is also available for even more sophisticated installations. The focus here is on the RGB lighting system, but above all on the final price of Sharkoon’s solution: €10/piece. A very affordable price compared with some fans that can cost more than twice as much!

Sharkoon SHARK Mirror: fans with RGB lighting and an infinite depth effect!

SHARK MirrorClearly, we’re dealing here with fans designed for PC cases. These models have a rather slow operating speed, a rather high airflow and a relatively low static pressure. In concrete terms, these mills will turn at up to 1,500 rpm and generate an airflow of 99.52 m3/h or 58.58 CFM. The static pressure is 1.23 mH2O.

Otherwise, we’re back to the 120mm mills for the time being. There’s no super-thick frame here, like Hyte’s Thicc FP12s; we’ve got something rather standard, 25 mm thick. At least, they’ll fit easily into a PC case and won’t interfere with the installation of other components like a graphics card that’s already on the limit, for example.

Of course, these models benefit from an aRGB lighting system provided by a total of eight diodes. On the central hub, the brand offers a mirror with an infinite depth effect similar to that of the old NZXT AIO pumps.

Finally, there are units with inverted blades. The aim here is simple: to mount fans while hiding the fan blades. It has to be said that this famous ‘X’ is not a particularly pleasing feature of the fan. However, the brand doesn’t seem to be displaying any differences in characteristics for this version.
