As you know, DeepCool is in a bit of trouble in the USA, as the company’s American branch is persona non grata. The country has simply decided to ban the brand from the territory for dealing with problematic Russian companies. These sanctions come in the context of the war in Ukraine. The brand’s products are now sold under the name “Shaking Tank”.

The Shaking Tank brand is not a DeepCool initiative

Via Amazon.com, the American branch of the e-commerce site, we can find Shaking Tank products, particularly the LS720 and AK620. However, as the visuals published on the product pages show, the DeepCool logo has simply disappeared or been crudely blurred. This is particularly noticeable on the fan hubs, which used to display the company logo.

Clearly, we do not believe that the company has set up such a crude little business to circumvent the sanctions. Indeed, the lack of effort behind this practice could risk “blowing up” this new brand.

In all likelihood, however, we’re talking here about accumulated stock that retailers are trying to sell off. Clearly, this solution seems plausible, since after a little research, nothing else comes up on the American Amazon.

We got in touch with DeepCool. They claims to be absolutely not behind this “brand” which is a very crude make-up and wishes to respect the procedure in progress in the USA.
