Good news for owners of Seasonic power supplies. The brand has announced an extension of the warranty period for some of its power supplies. The warranty on the Vertex series has been extended from 10 to 12 years!

As a reminder, with this series of power supplies, the brand offered its first PCIe 5.0 and ATX 3.0 certified power supplies. It was also the first to feature a 12VHPWR connector, the famous flammable connector! What’s more, the series comes in three distinct ranges, depending on color or certification. The PX blocks are certified 80 Platinum, while those from the GX and GX White ranges are 80 Gold.
Four power ratings are offered: 750W, 850W, 1000W and 1200W. The GX White series comes in 1000W and 1200W blocks. Alongside this, we’re treated to fully modular cable management, while ventilation is provided by a 135mm fan with semi-passive operation.
In short, we learn that following positive feedback from reviewers and customers, the brand is extending the warranty period on the blocks. This extends from 10 to 12 years worldwide. Naturally, this extension starts from the date of purchase.
