Aqua Computer is riding the wave of sealing frames to be placed on the IHS of Ryzen 7000 CPUs. Indeed, the brand offers us its Sealing Frame, a flexible frame to place on your processor to avoid putting thermal paste everywhere!
Sealing Frame: a frame to prevent the paste from spilling out of the CPU!
Very clearly, with this accessory, we have something very similar to the NA-STPG1 from Noctua. The device is placed on the CPU and follows the contours of the IHS in order to prevent the thermal paste from spilling out… Or liquid metal.
For this, Aqua Computer opts for a silicone manufacturing which allows the accessory to be easily cleaned. It is thus reusable, a sponge and hop, one can reuse it easily!
The installation is also very simple since it is enough to deposit the frame on the latch of the socket. When you close it, the frame is compressed on the CPU and can therefore fully play its role.
Now we just have to talk about the selling price which is 6,90 € via the brand’s store (not yet online). The availability at other retailers should be effective soon.
