The Azza brand often makes a name for itself thanks to its original case shapes. Recently, the company unveiled two new references with its Sanctum 810 and Mesa 811, which are no exception to the rule.
Sanctum 810: the cubic case with a recessed corner!
With this model, we’re back to a cubic design featuring a “crushed” corner. Its dimensions of 356 (W) x 455 (D) x 475 (H) mm remain imposing. What’s more, it adopts a compartmentalized design. The power supply is housed at the bottom, while the motherboard is mounted flat on top.
It’s a case that allows you to install imposing components:
- Motherboard: E-ATX
- Graphics card: up to 40 cm long
- CPU cooler: up to 19 cm high
Internally, you’ll also find a number of fan slots. There are two 120 mm slots at the front and rear, and three more towards the top of the motherboard. As for watercooling, 240 mm or 360 mm radiators can be installed.
Mesa 811: okay, it’s all gone to hell!
The Mesa 811 is a case with an asymmetrical shape. Azza claims to have been inspired by benchtops for this model. The result is still quite imposing, with dimensions of 489 (W) x 539 (D) x 494 (H) mm.
Once again, we find the same layout as for the Sanctum 810, with the power supply at the bottom and the motherboard mounted flat on top. Component compatibility has evolved somewhat. This time, the motherboard support stops at the ATX format, while the graphics card is limited to 38 cm in length. For CPU fans, too, the situation has tightened, with compatibility increased to 140 mm in height.
The number of fans is also reduced, with a 120 mm slot at the front. Three others will be present, flat, on the side of the motherboard, and they will allow the mounting of a 360 mm watercooling radiator.
Prices!
With its cases, Azza is clearly banking on originality more than anything else. In absolute terms, let’s face it, they’re imposing and rather impractical. The Mesa 811 costs $369.99 in the United States. As for the Sanctum, it should arrive later.
