The little-known SAMA brand has just announced a new series of all-in-one watercooling kits. Indeed, the brand is unveiling its L70 range, which boasts an in-house-designed pump. What’s more, SAMA is banking on silence and a frankly attractive design for this series.
SAMA L70: an in-house pump!
It’s rare enough to be highlighted, but SAMA announces that it has opted for an in-house designed pump, whereas most brands rely on an OEM kit that they then customize. This is the case of Corsair and NZXT with CoolIt, for example, or ASUS, which opts for Apaltek or Asetek depending on the series, etc., etc… In the case of SAMA, we learn that the pump uses ceramic at some point to promote durability.
As for the radiator, we have a classic aluminum exchanger with a thickness of 27 mm. It remains to be seen whether its fin density is similar to that of its competitors, or whether the brand distinguishes itself with a more or less dense block. Either way, the finish looks clean. Note that this radiator will be available in 240 and 360 mm.
As for ventilation, we’ll be using two or three 120×28 mm fans. These will operate at up to 2200 rpm, generating an airflow of 72.3 CFM and a static pressure of 2.85 mmH2O at full speed.
Overall, the design is rather neat, while the pump boasts an original look with its acrylic cover and infinite depth effect lighting system. The pump can be mounted on LGA-115x/1200/1700/1851 and AMD AM4/5 sockets.
For the time being, we don’t yet know the price, but the brand announces “premium cooling without the premium price”. Watch this space.
