After Asus and its RX 6600 Dual, it is now Gigabyte’s turn to announce its version of the card. Indeed, the brand unveils its RX 6600 Eagle, a model with three fans, but two thick slots!

RX 6600 Eagle: a Gigabyte card with two thick slots!

Gigabyte RX 6600 Eagle With this Eagle version, Gigabyte offers us a rather slender graphics card occupying only two slots in your PC. This is a clear change from the cinder blocks that are currently offered. One thinks especially of the RTX 3070 Noctua Edition from Asus and its 4 slots of space!

For the rest, the Gigabyte card offers a heatsink topped by three fans. Note that the PCB stops at two thirds of the total length of this model. Similarly, a backplate is present on the back of the card that will serve to stiffen the whole. However, we do not know if it will play a role in the cooling of this model.

In terms of frequencies, this version operates at reference frequencies. Thus, the GPU displays 2491 MHz in boost when the memory runs at 14 Gbps. Note that we are talking about 8 GB of GDDR6 based on a memory bus of 128 bits.

We end with the on-board connectivity and on this subject, Gigabyte offers two HDMI outputs supplemented by two DisplayPorts. Finally, the power supply goes through a single 8-pin PCIe connector.

For the price, the card is available on LDLC but it is better not to talk about it…

This way to the Gigabyte datasheet!
