At PowerColor, we will notice the arrival of a new small card. The model in question is intended for mini-ITX configurations since the card is very compact. In short, here is the RX 6500 XT ITX!
RX 6500 XT ITX: a 16.5 cm long card!
With this new model, the PowerColor brand offers us a very compact card since it is only 16.5 cm long. The thickness is classic since this model will only occupy two slots. However, more and more ITX cases are getting ready for large cards by offering three expansion slots.
Of course the heatsink remains quite simple with a block of aluminum fins, two heatpipes and a fan on top. We learn that PowerColor retains a diameter of 90 mm for the latter.
As a reminder, this 6500 XT is a very small card based on a Navi24 GPU with 1024 stream processors, 64 TMUs and 32 ROPs. Regarding memory, we have 4 GB of GDDR6 clocked at 18 Gbps. On the other hand, the card only uses a very small CPIe 4.0 x4 interface.
Finally, the video outputs remain basic since we only have a DisplayPort and an HDMI. The power supply part has a single 8-pin PCIe.
For the price, nothing announced either, keep in mind AMD’s announcement price of $199… To be crossed with the 300€ and 335€ of the Asus to get an idea of the real price.
